THE EVENTS |
| |
|
YESTERDAY |
 |
The first edition of the “Rally di
Monza” dates back to 1978, when the
local organisers decide to open the
Autodromo doors to rally cars. The
Rally di Monza was therefore born as
a “hybrid” event, even though the
first editions were quite similar to
a real rally, with special stages
run on gravel roads inside the track
area. In the following years, the
need arose to use exclusively the
tarmac roads forming part of the
track therefore, thanks to its new
and original layout, the Rally di
Monza has welcomed some of the most
important Champions not only of
world rallying, but also of Formula
One and Motorcycling. |

TODAY |
|
In recent years the event has
changed from a simple rally into a
great mediatic event and has taken
the name of “Monza Rally Show”.
Champions and show: this is the
“mix” of ingredients which has
turned the “Monza Rally Show” into a
“must” of the Italian motorsport
calendar. |

wih hairpins and chicanes) on a

It is held since 2003, when the
event changed its name to “MONZA
